How are you getting track artwork? I played it through the ARD plugin for LMS and don't see artwork.

Ah TuneIn, say no more. Not much good to me thenIt was a track playing on NDR 1 via Tunein via LMS. Sometimes, the album artwork can be wrong, but not often
Why? Just use the LMS radio search... NDR 1 has a few regional variants but the playlist is the same for all.Ah TuneIn, say no more. Not much good to me then
Because I am in the UK. TuneIn is useless here. Why? Just use the LMS radio search... NDR 1 has a few regional variants but the playlist is the same for all.
It will be a available as a download from his website but strangely not as FLAC but as WAV.
I would probably convert to FLAC after purchase. I think "They Might Be Giants" also offer WAV and MP3. The WAV files don't have any metadata so best to download both then copy the MP3 metadata to the FLAC conversion of the WAV filesAs I may have mentioned I didn't even had to pre-order the vinyl, CDs and box sets. "My" record store has carte blanche for everything linked to Pink Floyd and I would punish them if I would miss something. So this is not an issue for me.
But very, very interesting and no idea why he decided to deliver WAV as download instead of FLAC. I believe there was (and is?) the theory that WAV is the real lossless format? And as far as I know most of modern devices, like the WiiMs can handle it. So, no risk with buying such download? And the streams from the services will be FLAC, or Spotify's format, definitively. Says my glass bowl .
Oh - I'd forgotten about that.Because I am in the UK. TuneIn is useless here.
Yup. I have no idea why Apple decided to reinvent the wheel with ALAC.My personal opinion is that today nothing else than FLAC is the go-to format. (As long as no other convincing format will be available)
If ALAC had existed before FLAC Apple would have sued because the last three letters were the sameIts Apple
