What are you listening to?

Couldn't comment on the music content, but why are the covers in this genre so predictably & 'atrociously' awful from an aesthetic point of view (sorry 😋)
Funny you should say that - I scrolled thru this page and my thought was similar, we need a run of good looking album artwork…

Take it as kind of a peace offer 😂. A totally different cover and music.
Nice new (!) compilation. He decided to sing some of his hits in a stripped down acoustic version. Good idea? There are artists around that can not fail, at least in my world. Of course you notice that the voice of a 78 year old man isn't as stable as in his younger years. But it touches me. And it is a brilliant sounding record!

I have always liked Gilbert, so will try to give this a listen later on today. Thanks for the recommendation. 🙂

I’m of an age now that I look for someone to give up the seat they’ve been saving… 🤣🤣

Fresh Thrash before breakfast! Following a few more or less unnecessary and badly produced albums it seems F&J found back to track!

Can anyone inform me why bands are producing a bad recording..i assume you meant they are not well recorded.
Is it for instance -with black metal bands- done intentionally? Or is it they haven't got enough money or time to produce a good recording?
How can it be sound engineer's will go with such s thing as the loudness wars? That's what I read somewhere in the internet a while ago.
How can you do this if the focus is playing a recording for key say a car cd player if it can ruin the complete recording...
