I had ever used UAPP with my V40 and headphones, only. Works smoothly also for streaming with activated plugin 👍

Sorry, the old habit of using common abbreviations is actually not always understandable.
V40 refers to the LG phone. I use my old LG V30 and V40 phones together with UAPP (USB Audio Player Pro 😉) and Sennheiser headphones, HD599. Both phones are equipped with ESS DACs and UAPP is able to control these DACs directly.
I have now used UAPP as a UPnP control point with the Ultra for the first time. Also works great. UAPP offers access to Tidal, Qobuz using its own interface.
