I've almost exclusively been listening to electronic/ambient stuff to get my arse into gear for a long overdue release that's been due a final mix for months.....

However I have been listening to some guitary music recently and a band from my distant past I have reconnected with. Not a band I was in (I wish) but aspired to.

So, ladies and gentlemen and all in between, I give you Chavez, particularly this track (although it's hard to choose).

A couple of tracks near the start of the record now sound a bit like early Nirvana, not too bad but, meh... anyway it starts to shine a bit after that...I think.

If you're into the raw, Steve Albini type sound, this for you.
