My turntable only comes out on the dining room table for needledrops and the records are all under the bedI've tons of LPs lying around for about 20 years. That's when my daughter was born, and I sold my stereo because we needed the money. The approximately €10,000 saved our asses. Today we have our own house and my momentary listening space doesn't have room for a record player, but my listening space will be moving into my home office sooner or later, then there will be plenty of space.
Have a listen. This is the intro to Back In N.Y.C. You can hear the hum start after 1 second if you turn it up.Not present on my FLAC rip and I don’t think VinylStudio’s correction algorithm would have removed it. Perhaps the remastering got rid?

Finally someone who knows this bandLake was one of the biggest bands in and around Hamburg in the 80s. I went to at least 20 concerts. Once, I was hired to set up the sound system for them at the Fabrik. I was so successful that we celebrated New Year's Eve together. A huge party with things I wouldn't do today.
