What are you listening to?

Shoot me, and no one could say I did not try it more than once. As part of a choir I have a "picture" in my ears how a big (mostly church) organ has to sound. Not a single one of my home hifi over the years, and some have been quite big, satisfied me with that special instrument. It lacks too much. Everything was always "not organ enough". Have to say also that since a while the distance to neighbors is too close to give it a real chance 😉
Even Madame Lapwood who was introduced here before made it more than once on my stereo.

As I really like Rhapsody in Blue, I gave this a brief listening - sounds like he's responding to a dare: "Bet you can't play that on the organ" ;)
It's good what they can now do with these historic recordings of this unique organ. The organ was removed shortly before the cinema was demolished in 1964, and it has remained in storage ever since.

There are rumours going around that the organ may have been recently purchased by a group of organists and enthusiasts, who are hoping to restore it back to its former glory after 60 years in storage, and then find a new home for it.

Do I hear an organ in this italo-pop classic?
