You could tell it was a cassette as soon as you entered the room. Looking back it was a ridiculous idea that any device that played them could in any way be described as HiFiMore tape spooling.
It's hard to believe any quality of sound came from 0.15 inches of tape running at 1 7/8 ips.

You could never trust the EQ and Dolby on pre-recorded cassettes to match your deck
