Rare Bird - Sympathy

Any UK 70s music lover may well remember this fabulous song (my father bought it as a 45) & on the strength of that I bought all 5 LPs through the 70's. Epic Forest is the 'heaviest' album but all are great.

I honestly haven't heard of them or any of the bands the members went on to form afterwards, apart from Spinal Tap 🤣

Rare Earth - Get Ready

Pulling out a couple of Rare Bird LPs earlier prompted me to also play this similarly named 70s Psych-Funk-Rock band LP.

Several years ago I saw the intriguing cover of ‘Ma’ 2nd hand in Amoeba Music & played it in an LP booth.
I
liked the music, took a punt & bought several others including 'Get Ready'.

Grand Funk Railroad - Grand Funk ('Red Album')

This remastered version is the best I have heard... so played it at vol 11😈
