What are you listening to?

I’m starting my morning off with a nice rousing podcast from Mechanical Music Radio.

It’s a bit odd that there is nothing here actually about music that people are listening to so I’ll kick off a thread on the subject.

A set of 3 newly released CDs hit my doormat yesterday. I’ve ripped one of them to my server today and now playing.

This is a massively expanded set of tracks from Eric’s 24 Nights album from a series of concerts at Royal Albert Hall in 1990 & 1991.

Today it will be Phillip Glass and Pateris Vasks!

I'm currently listening to Elton John and Brandi Carlisle new album and I'm quietly impressed!

Graham Parker & The Rumour - The Parkerilla (Live)

When I sold a batch of vinyl in the 80's this LP was unintentionally among them but many years later, browsing in a local Record Store Grey n Pink I found my original copy again (...for some reason I had spread a band of darkened varnish across the top background & on his hair and there it was!)

I first saw them at the Kursaal Ballroom. The Parkerilla live versions of 'Hey Lord Don't ask me Questions' & 'The Heat in Harlem' are especially good.
