What are you listening to?

Franck Carducci - Sheeple (Prog Rock, released today)

I had tagged this album in my calendar based on a pre-review…”melding classic progressive influences (such as Genesis and Pink Floyd)”

Yes, I do hear some classic Genesis & the flute on ‘Sweet Cassandra Reprise’ is a beautiful thing. Plenty of piano in places too.

I will play this album at least twice, I liked the first listen… a lot ☺️

Brave Rival - Fight Or Flight (Heavy Blues-Rock)

A must listen if you like Heart, as I do.
Twin female vocalists, great UK band & a really good album!

Seaton Delaval Hall, if I recall correctly. Always struck me as a spooky unpleasant place best driven past at high speed in the Austin A40. 😁
No, a FUN 18th C place!

Upside down rooms with carpets & furniture on the ceiling & the ceiling on the floor, beds with chambers for sheep, goats, pigs & geese underneath which noisily opened once drunken guests were half asleep. Another bedroom where the wall by the bed slid across to reveal Sir Francis Blake Delaval and his family sitting on a line of chairs, looking at you in 'the next room' as you awoke with a massive hangover.

I would have liked to be a guest at one of his huge & wild all-nighters 🥳
