Strangely I saw Coverdale perform at the same venue a few years before on the deep purple come taste the band album tour
Supposedly the last purple tour ever 😜
Great venue the Liverpool empire 👍

Saw Deep Purple mid 80s at Wembley Arena (I think). All I remember is it was so loud it sounded awful and Ritchie Blackmore throwing a strop so there was no encore 😂

Lineup I saw was Coverdale, hughes, bolin,paice and lord and they were loud but it was a good gig
