Not really no..
I have to force myself to it..
I see him play live for public..just as a Roy Robinson.
Everywhere on TV,radio stations..
Seeing this immediately fires aversion in my whole body. Although I know any artist must be in a way a extravert person..maybe not all, but a lot.
I see those people advertising for being played in a commercial radio station there money has to be made..but sorry my aversion in only growing stronger.
Only if the music really blows me away totally I maybe have to do some compromises 😄
But that happens not often..
Music for entertaining, entertainment I despise it..stay away from it if I can.

To sell you're music.. managers,forced gigs( for me it would be like it this way), playing for radio stations and so on,..for me personally I never would do it would not like to be that 🤡.

I would show my talent would like it very much if people where touched by your music.
But the commercial aspect of the music industry I hate it..

Was more than a bit disappointed. Repetition of all the routines, without any inspiration. Will get another chance, out of old bonding. But I do not expect a more enthusiastic impression. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I can still appreciate the poetry in the two songs I mentioned and I have to believe there was some genuineness in his emotions even though there was a commercial aspect to Denver's work.

I can relate to your dislike of the commercialism in the music industry. I worked as a sound engineer in the 70's and early 80's. I started off as an engineer doing recordings for radio commercials and business seminars. I hated that time period with a passion. Everything was tied to the clock. An engineer needed to be fast and have immediate solutions. The pressure was constant.

I finally made my way into a studio that worked with musicians and did demos and album work for local bands. One of my favorite sessions was a 2 track demo recording of a young flutist that was trying out for the Chicago Symphony. I still have that recording. Watching her play was a real treat.

One question out of curiosity.
Based on your theory, would you say that young people who succeed doing what they love on YouTube or TiKTok are not commercial at all? 🤔😄

I think a lot of their (starting point) is self-produced.
