It's very like the album that preceded it.Rumours is nothing like Fleetwood Mac !!
Neither of which are like Fleetwood Mac!It's very like the album that preceded it.
More Buckingham Nicks than Fleetwood MacNeither of which are like Fleetwood Mac!
Album number eight is from Andrew Gold.
It is also the final album from this list that I have been working my way through.

Karla Bonoff, Nicolette Larson - all the Linda Ronstadt contemporaries I really liked. I’ll need to check out that list
I will have to have a listen to that album later.Excellent album - think I first heard the track on a late night Radio Scotland show when it first came out which prompted me to buy the album. Famous Blue Raincoat (her cover album of Leonard Cohen songs for whom she was a long term backing singer) is also a good listen, especially Bird on a Wire.
It seems like a good album, and it's the first time I have heard it.Another excellent album - I used Lonely Boy as a test track when I was out auditioning CD players years ago. My brother was with me and it was played so often it put him off the track for life![]()
I have really enjoyed playing all of the albums in that list, and surprisingly for me, there were no weird ones.Karla Bonoff, Nicolette Larson - all the Linda Ronstadt contemporaries I really liked. I’ll need to check out that list![]()
That just reminded me I have this on vinyl. Not sure if this is on any streaming service - John Stewart’s album “Bombs away dream babies” which is very Fleetwood Mac unsurprisingly as it was produced by Lindsey Buckingham, with him and Stevie Nicks doing background vocals. I bought it because of the Mac connection and because I loved the album title

Yeah, that’s the vinyl rip I was playing. Think I had another one of his albums shortly after that one - Dream Babies Go Hollywood. Don’t recall that being as good. That just reminded me I have this on vinyl.
Hmm I might have Dream Babies Go Hollywood and not this one.Yeah, that’s the vinyl rip I was playing. Think I had another one of his albums shortly after that one - Dream Babies Go Hollywood. Don’t recall that being as good.
I couldn't find this album on Amazon, or Qobuz, otherwise I would have given it a listen. Not sure if this is on any streaming service - John Stewart’s album “Bombs away dream babies” which is very Fleetwood Mac unsurprisingly as it was produced by Lindsey Buckingham, with him and Stevie Nicks doing background vocals. Yeah, couldn’t find it either. There’s a playlist of that name on Spotify but the contents look like they’re picked from other albums and perhaps re-recorded and not the Buckingham produced versions. No doubt “contractual difficulties” got involved…I couldn't find this album on Amazon, or Qobuz, otherwise I would have given it a listen.![]()
