What are you listening to?

I still have the copy I bought in the early 70's.
His best album in my opinion, recorded before he started his long slow descent into mediocrity.

Not an actual WiiM listening to entry per se, but 50 years ago today I witnessed my first major international touring group at Melbourne's Festival Hall. Yes, Status Quo in all their 12 Bar Greatness, ably supported by Dragon from NZ. I still have the ticket stub!

The Eagles - One Of These Nights

My Wifes' favourite band so we own every LP they have released & seen them several times over the years pre '16 (Glen Frey RIP)

(we were on a long and very wet walk in N Yorks back in 2008 & came upon the rams skull so just had to paint it up... something related to music I've done that she approves of!)

Little Feet - Dixie Chicken

a bit more Laurel Canyon country rock although these can be quite funky as well. Good Stuff

Yardbirds (Roger The Engineer) Mono

Old but certainly not forgotten

...Happenings Ten Years Time Ago, Over Under Sideways Down, The Nazz Are Blue...

Love - Forever Changes (slightly psychedelic folk rock)

Now, this is an absolute ‘60s classic - many publications & critics deservedly rate this as flawless & among the greatest albums of all
time. Every song is beautifully structured (eg Alone Again Or).

I never saw Love but did go to two Arthur Lee gigs between leaving prison & death (him not me).

Arthur Lee - Everybody's Gotta Live (From the album Vindicator)

The last LP I played reminded me of this very catchy Arthur Lee song which he played both times I saw him
