Sniff 'n' The Tears - Fickle Heart

This album opens with (to me) one of the catchiest pieces of music ever - Drivers Seat, only surpassed by the 12" extended version, worth tracking down on any streaming platform.

I was hooked by the beautiful, catchy harmonies from the moment I discovered them way back but haven't played anything for many years... time to correct that.

The Electric Prunes - The Electric Prunes (psychedelic 60s rock)

Twelve short & sharp slightly edgy songs, very atmospheric and at times almost sinister, especially the first track. They were among the earliest to experiment with fuzz-guitar, IMO a really great album & glad I got round to playing it again.

Mile Train - I'd Rather Feel Bad (Hard Rock / Southern Rock)

For anyone into heavy guitar based rock, this is really great. I found it by accident last night, the best new music I've heard for quite a while.

...the first few seconds of this song was enough to hook me
 
Your mercy of early birth 😉. Was eight back in 1972 and nerved by my father's favorite: The 1937 Benny Goodman Carnegie Hall live recording. For me it was Enid Blyton and Hui Buh from Europa label on countless MCs.
