This was my first CD in 1984, released in that format in this very year iirc. My father had the vinyl already and I was so proud to present him the new sensational development. Was not so impressed he said, but I knew we was lying. Purchased it together with my also first player from Sony (CDP-101, really expensive then) and it was more or less the beginning of a still ongoing journey. Both record and the player are long gone away from me, but the Sony still does his job in a house from a cousin of my wife.

The Zombies - Odessey And Oracle

A totally inappropriate band name but a classic 60s EMI/Abbey Rd album & of course Time of the Season is the standout.

I have seen the Zombies live countless times over the years, not because they are a particular favourite but because along with the Eagles they are one of very few where my wife would willingly accompany me to a gig!
