What are you listening to?

Good selection of an artist I've always liked & have several LPs including with Tim Weisberg - 'Tell Me To My Face' is a great song on Twin Sons Of Different Mothers but I don't think it's on the 'Essential' album.
Beautiful Song 👍

No it’s a cd from a boxset I just bought

Edited the picture 😊
Another cover glorifying the skull. I want to explain my aversion to the use of the skull as a an image or symbol, and why its use is offensive to me. The skull was a significant emblem of the SS & the Nazis. This alone is reason enough to restrict its use in artistic domains post 1945. The only legitimate use as a symbol for me is as a signifier for poison and land-mines. This is my personal opinion. I don't want to offend, just explain.

I understand however I prefer to think of pirates, not that they were particularly friendly but a better image than the nazis 😊

We all hate the Nazis, SS...and nothing they did can be justified.

Nevertheless, they do not have a monopoly on these symbols. They were used long before that... In my opinion, it always depends on the context today.
But I understand your aversion.

For example the suastik is widely used by Hindus as a symbol of well-being. The nazis stole this as almost everything from otherr cultures and countries.

There are countless examples. Mexico, Day of the Dead (Día de Los Muertos), when the deceased are honored, etc.

Not everything has to do with this inhumane ideology. Unfortunately, humanity does not learn from history. My mother always said, “Animals are better humans.”

Eagles Of Death Metal - Death By Sexy

Spoiler: there is no death metal, the name is a piss-take, it's a mix of (very) Rolling Stones style R&R with added garage rock, blues-rock, rockabilly & many other things.

...several of us were at a weekend festival with our then, teenage kids in the early 2000s & this unknown band came on stage fronted by a guy, Jesse Hughes moving & acting like a tongue-in-cheek Jagger. That set went down a storm, great charisma & really good music & over the next few years we saw them numerous times so playing this album is bit of a nostalgia trip. The four studio albums are all good (including 'Zipper Down' credited to 'EODM' with a suggestive cover some may find offensive!). Alongside Hughes, Josh Homme of QOTSA is the other founder/drummer & a permanent member.
