Chris Rea - Whatever Happened To Benny Santini

No idea who he was at the time but he played most of this debut album as support at a Lindisfarne gig in Sheffield '78.

...he was sensational but I recall nothing of the main act's performance.

Rick Miller - Perspective (melodic Rock)

This artist clearly takes his main influence from David Gilmour (in a very good way)

Younger Brother - Vaccine

Mellow & frequently beautiful electronic music with lovely vocals. This is probably the most accessible of their four albums but all are good.
