Chris Robinson Brotherhood - Phosphorescent (Southern Folk-Rock, laid back & bluesy sounding)

...after playing some Black Crowes last night I’ve pulled out this great double LP by their frontman. Disk 1 purple, disk 2 orange & the gatefold includes a 45 as well.

...having a mostly vinyl day today, the last Saturday while my wife has been overseas so I need to make the most of it!

Buffalo Springfield

This was a 16th birthday present from my older cousin who received two copies by Mail-Order accident. Very nice double LP compilation.

Eric Burdon & the Greenhornes (four song 12”)

The opening growl “My name’s Winston Churchill…and I’m having a f#*king nervous breakdown” sets the scene!

It’s only 17 minutes, 45rpm but brilliant stuff from the old 'Animal'

The Legendary - Let's Get A Little High (Heavy Rock, Munich based band)

Very impressed with 3 tracks played by one of my friends last night so tonight the complete album.
I kept expecting the energy and musical quality to slow down but it never did, excellent throughout & right up my street.

….now started playing their later album ‘Warlord’, first impressions are just as good.

I‘m afraid the TV production is lacking the dynamics of this Requiem. A pity really.
