What are you listening to?

Very few of my parent's idols managed to become mine too. This is one of the few exceptions! A genius! With Graceland still a benchmark for my analog gear.

KISS (surviving members) given Kennedy Center Award by compere DJ Trump... Lots of geriatric cosmetic surgery on show by other winners and the audience. Overall, a celebration of mediocrity and overindulgence, imho 😁

And, Dick van Dyke hits 100...

Komodor - Nasty Habits (60-70s sounding Rock)

Apparently this was recorded on old analogue gear & it does have that ‘classic’ feel

A bit of nostalgia today. I remember as a teenager watching this track on The Old Grey Whistle test. They cut it back from 11 minutes to around 6 minutes for broadcast. The BBC received numerous complaints so they played it in full on the following week's show. Two weeks later with my first wage packet from my first job I rushed out and bought the LP, which I still have.
