At The Beeb has no station ID but it does have John Peel introducing songs so it seems to be a faithful reproduction of the original BBC broadcast. The album gain is also a much lower value.

Bought this in the 90s after a recommendation from a mate. It’s upbeat & melancholic with lush production & regarded by many as a ‘lost classic’ Paul Weller even covered the title track a couple of years ago.
