What are you listening to?

Back today from a couple of weeks away, a few albums I had played over the past few days, mostly guitar rock...

Ally Venable - Real Gone (Broken & Blue)

Very good album, includes duets with Joe Bonamassa & Buddy Guy

Jay Jesse Johnson Band - Down The Hard Road

Great guitar on this track ’Tears Of The Angels’

Hogjaw - If It Ain’t Broke

Excellent Southern Rock (as are all Hogjaw albums IMO)

Fairfield Parlour/Kaleidoscope - Please Listen To The Pictures

BBC sessions, 60’s Psych-rock/folk - not the best recording quality, unlike three excellent albums 'Tangerine Dreams, Dive Into Yesterday ('Faintly Blowing') & From Home To Home'. I can recommend any of these to fans of 60s-early 70s melodic pop-rock-folk music

This was such a great band with such bad luck & could easily have been huge at the time. Peter Daltrey still releases albums sounding quite similar and I have them on a playlist in my car. Very enjoyable.

Interesting article, I bet the lazy BBC didn't ask Pink Floyd to take a backing track in 😂
