Genesis - The Battle of Epping Forest.
A prog-rock song about two East London gangs battling in a forest north of the city.

One of my all time favourite albums from an old favourite band*, I have three vinyl copies and a CD, used 'Firth of Fifth' to woo a girlfriend, saw Genesis twice on this tour and nearly named a narrowboat Sailing England By The Pound, Windlass and Wuthering or Locks-Trot

For me this is the weakest track on the album, sorry to say & I might as well admit that I've never been a fan of The Lamb Lies Down either, apart from two tracks.

*Favourite band until 'Then There Were Three', still a good band but weaker than the Gabriel /Hackett incarnations.
