Apparently, there's a new genre called 'Nasty Pop'. Personally, I'd classify it as 'Commercialised Crap'

I came across this while viewing reports of the Met Gala event in New York where the glitterati of contemporary American culture (eg. the Kardashians, Bad Bunny, Jeff Bezos, etc) turn up in exotic outfits. It's a fundraising event for the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art. Tickets cost a rumoured 100,000 usd. I guess it's worth every penny
