Mine is 61 degreas centigrade after a couple of hours. Ambient is about 21 degrees.

Use following

https://Wiim IP address/httpapi.asp?command=getStatusEx

Then look for the temperature_tmp102 field in the text that's displayed.

WiiM Amp or WiiM Amp Pro?

WiiM Amp Pro, ambiente temperature 19.8⁰C, right after booting up:

temperature_cpu: 29
temperature_tmp102: 22

Case temperature, manually measured: 20.4⁰C

After 22 minutes of playing pink noise at 50% volume into a pair of KEF LS50¹:

temperature_cpu: 42
temperature_tmp102: 42

Case temperature, manually measured: 29.2⁰C

Footnote 1:
50% volume into KEF LS50 is not as well defined a boundary condition as one might think. Actual power output depends on my RC settings and volume limit, it's just a rule of thumb value.

After 44 minutes of playing pink noise at 50% volume into a pair of KEF LS50:

temperature_cpu: 45
temperature_tmp102: 47

Case temperature, manually measured: 31.8⁰C

This should be enough for now. :) 61⁰C sounds reasonable to me after a few hours of continuous use.
