Hi All! I'm new to Wiim Ultra and I have a question:
I just installed Wiim Home app on a second device, an Android tablet. First one beeing an Android phone.
On my phone I have created a number of favourites and playlists, but they don't show up on my tablet...
Are favourites and playlists being stored on the phone and don't migrate when you install Wiim Home on another device which is connected to the same Wiim Ultra?
I'm a bit confused, why do they not show up on the app installed on the tablet and can I fix that?

Welcome.

Some things, like settings and presets, are stored on the wiim itself.
Others, like favourites, are stored in the app.
Wiim don't force you to create an account with them (well, more accurately they don't have user accounts) so these things aren't available to another instance of the app as there's nothing linking them.

Bummer... But thank you for answering.
I guess this means that when you change your phone (or tablet) you loose all your favourites and playlists, right? Again, bummer...

If the favourites are associated with a service (Tidal, TuneIn,..) and the WiiM Home App is logged in to those, then you will see them on all your phones/tablets.

Hi Vignus, team

Your music service favorites are stored within your respective music service accounts. This means when you change phones, your favorites will automatically re-sync from your account.

For your local music library and playlists, we’re planning to introduce an option that allows you to sync favorites and playlists across devices using a user account. Additionally, for presets and device settings stored directly on the device, we’ll provide a way to copy these settings from your existing device. Stay tuned for these updates!
