Where has the favorite/heart icon gone?

I can't find the heart favorite icon to add songs, albums, artists to my favorites. I can see favorites from.ky streaming servers added in the las but I used to be able to add new ones using wiim home app.. no I see just Preser as option, not add to favorites.

A song from what source are you trying to add to your favourites?

It should be in the three dot menu on the now playing screen.

Android, WiiM Home App 3.5.1, some random song from a random playlist (not my own).

If something looks strange or doesn't work with any integrated music service it's always worth trying to log out and log in again (if that service requires an account).

If you search an artist, an album, a track and you play it or queue it, you wont get the thumbs. They only appear with Stations, not even playlists.

My screenshot - as I clearly stated - was taken playing a random song from a randomly chosen Amazon playlist (not m own). The buttons are clearly there.

I don't have any personal playlists, because I don't actively use Amazon Music. The search function is completely useless if you don't have Unlimited, Amazon will play any song, as long as it's not by the artist you've been searching for. Still, no matter what was playing the thumbs up and down buttons have always been there for me.

Did you try logging out of your Amazon account and then log in again? Sometimes this procedure cures strange behaviour.

I did log out and in.
Believe me, i have Unlimited. Thumbs only appear when playing Stations, nothing else. Searched, artist, albums, tracks or playilist browsed from the wiim UI won't show like/dislike buttons. I creaated a ticket and got anwswered:
"

Due to API limitations, many features are currently unavailable for Amazon Music. You can easily save your favorite albums or tracks by using the Preset function. And the new API is still under discussion. It will take some time to implement. Please rest assured that we are actively collaborating with the Amazon team to speed up the process. We appreciate your patience! "

Of course I believe you. But I don't have Unlimited. I have thumbs up and thumbs down icons instead. ;)

Great, so WiiM are pushing Amazon to change their API.

You could now contact Amazon directly and ask for this enhancement to further speed up the process.

Do you have Amazon Prime? I can't play anything with Amazon Free.

Could you please tell us the firmware version of your WiiM device, the version of the WiiM app, and your phone model name?

Also, depending on where you live, this feature might not be available. (Just a guess.)

All is up to date: Wiim Home App 3.5.1, Wiim Pro Plus 4.8.805453 and Wiim Mini 4.6.805929. I have a Samsung S22.
Wiim's support aknowledged already some kind of limitation of the used API... It's is strange but as Amazon Music Unlimited subscriber I can only like or dislike using Wiim Home App the tracks that are played through Stations but not music I get to through search or browsing the catalogue.. . makes no sense to me, but it is like that. If any of you have Prime or Unlimited subscription may double check.
@slartibartfast i experienced the same when login with a Amazon Free account. I just can't play anything from Wiim Home app, while from native Amazon Music app i can play (random and curated playlists/stations only..and with Ad...as stated for the Free users).

It's really strange...

It's true that before, the Like button only appeared on stations. But now, it shows up during playback for everything—searches, playlists, albums, and more. I'm a Prime member.
