No. The speaker output is designed to drive loudspeakers with a nominal impedance between 4 and 8 ohm. It's not suited to headphones with a 300 ohm impedance.

As I wrote, I dealt with the issue of connecting
HD 600 directly to the speaker terminals.
Did something bad happen?
No, none of these things. In the headphones I heard a very good sound for me.
I will add, however, that I am not an expert in these matters, because I only listened to them on A700MK3 and SA-C600.
Why did I do this?
Out of curiosity.
Will I use it?
No, it would be troublesome, even with banana plugs.
If you want to try, remember-
Pre -gain set to -5DB, and the volume for min. before connecting.
