Hifiman HE400se and Wiim Amp

Thinking of dipping my toe into using headphones for the first time and know little about headphones. Looking at Hifiman HE400SE. Was looking at reviews on headphones.com (and a couple other locations) and they are suggesting using an external headphone amp with the HE400SSE. Anyone using these headphones with Ultra?, Is it sufficient to drive these headphones properly w/o external amp?

Briefly, no.
There's no drive enough to generate interesting SPL values, mainly if the HE400SE is the 25 Ohm version.
Same for the V2 Stealth rated for 32 Ohm, both definitely need to get a beefy amp.
