WiiM Amp tv sound issue

…. a new Amp. Good sound from Spotify. Nothing from LG TV. ( 8 years old). HDMI Arc and Optical tried. Also directed tv sound to hdmi or optical respectively. Still nothing.

Stop press. I found something on LG called SIMPLINK. once activated all was good.

IIRC simplink is LG’s terminology for hdmi cec which controls the volume between the tv and an external device.
