That's strange, because as I wrote, I haven't noticed anything like that happening to me. Furthermore, whatever happened during shutdown always happens the next time I start it up.

I've never seen it either as I power my Amp off every night.

I find it very annoying as I have my Yamaha AS1200 connected with the 12v trigger. So every time the Ultra (not Amp) seems to do, what I call, a 'silent reboot', my Yamaha amp turns on and off. In my case, it is rapid white flashing as described but more frequently than once in three days.
