WiiM Amp Ultra or Vibelink with zero latency?

Hello everyone! I've been using my WiiM Amp for over a year now. Although I do like it, the latency is simply too high. Ever since, WiiM has produced the VibeLink and the Amp Ultra. Does anyone know if this amplifier doesn't add extra latency? I can't seem to find proper results.

I do quite like the WiiM ecosystem, but maybe I should broaden my horizon if I really want to have a low latency amp.

I'm not familiar with the latency specs of various amps, but I would like to hear more about your application and need for "zero latency". My own priority is accurate time sync across a speaker group spanning a larger overlapping space - where I've assumed that latency matters less than consistent alignment. I'm assuming you've got an AV need involving realtime gaming or something?

Hi,
Based on my previous test, the Amp Ultra has a latency of around 100ms. Streamers like the Ultra generally had around 50ms. I haven't researched the latency of the Vibelink amp, but since it doesn't have a built-in DSP, I believe it has no latency. (The combination of Ultra and Vibelink is expected to have a latency of around 50ms.

Thank you! I hope the Vibelink has indeed zero latency. The added latency for streaming is fine with me.
My main "need" for low latency is indeed gaming and streaming VR rhythm games. It is a bit of a niche case, I'll admit. Currently, I run everything on my PC and send it to an old analog late '70s amplifier. For my TV and music needs, I have everything hooked up to my WiiM Amp (to a different pair of speakers).

I expected that, if I were to use HDMI or TOSLINK, there'd be no latency between my PC and the WiiM Amp. Sadly, that is not the case.
Where the Vibelink to work, I would probably use TOSLINK for my TV and line-input for my PC and the WiiM Amp (for streaming) or something like that.

The WiiM Vibelink Amp should have a close to zero (digital inputs) or zero latency. But it's just a pure amplifier. No streaming, no DSP functions.lime EQ or RoomFit, no remote control ...

As soon as you combine it with a WiiM Ultra, the Ultra's own latency will still be added for every device connected to it.
