If I enable my phone's hotspot it disables the wifi, and I need to use another device to see / control the wiim.

Not in my experience - the phone acts like your router and is no longer a client of that hotspot networkNo. The phone is part of the hotspot network in that case.

I have a WIIM amp which works well after setup with the WIFI of my current home.
I have to move to the countryside to a place without internet.
Does the WIIM amp only works via Bluetooth from my iPhone with 4G or 5G ?
