Wiim Home App für IOS draining iphone battery

Hi all, i checked the power consumption and battery status of my iphone 12 pro with the result that he wiim home app once running consumes most of the battery even if the iphone ist not in the network with my wiim ultra or running in background without playing music. Do you have similar experiences ? It seems that there is somehow a background or sleep status missing. Only current solution is to stop the app manually after usage.....thx and best regards Oskar

I guess the fact that the app and your WiiM are not on the same network is the reason fot the high battery consumption. The app is constantly searching.
Closing the app is the best you can do. Actually you should do that with any app that‘s not in use.
