What decides on the background colour in the now playing screen? The same music playing can have a different colour on a different device. Can this be altered so that it shows the same background colour as the currently selected theme.

What decides on the background colour in the now playing screen? The same music playing can have a different colour on a different device. Can this be altered so that it shows the same background colour as the currently selected theme.

Probably reflects the color of the jacket. (Like many streaming apps.) WHA's playing screen background is similar to Spotify's.

Amazon music and Qobuz, on the other hand, have similar designs. The cover art is enlarged and blurred to create a dark background.

The colours of the device cards also change, but not in synch with the now playing screen.
