Wiim mini as Preamp

Hi!
I have a pair of totem kin play and they have an “amp in” where you can plug in a preamp to bypass its internal preamp. Is it possible to use the Wiim mini for this or do I need a Wiim pro?

You should be able to use the cable with stereomini plugs on both ends to connect the AUX OUT on the WiiM Mini to the AMP IN on the KIN PLAY, though it may sound better if you use an optical cable to connect the WiiM Mini SPDIF port to the KIN PLAY DIGITAL IN.
