No for silver, any plastic silver coated looks fake and pretentious.
Regarding gold, it could fits the needs of some rich "elite"...

How expensive do you want to go? There are many hi end speakers available in white, for example.
Maybe fewer components though, admittedly they are far more common in silver or black.
And at this budget end of the spectrum there're quite a number of white components.

I wasn't angry. I'm sorry for giving that impression and I apologise.
I was referring to devices like Amplifiers; Pre Amps; CD players, etc., not speakers.
Those, in my opinion, are a world apart
