WiiM Sound – Now Shipping Globally!
The WiiM Sound transitioned from pre-orders to full availability throughout November, with units now in customers' hands around the world. Early customer feedback has been enthusiastic, and reviews are starting to appear online.
Global Availability:
- November 13: Available now on Amazon UK and Amazon Japan
- November 15: Amazon Australia
- November 16: Amazon Canada
- November 21-25: Amazon Germany (stock arriving at distribution centers)
- November 21: US pre-orders opened on Amazon
- Available at select retail stores worldwide

WiiM Home App Updates
November brought significant improvements to the WiiM Home App experience with version 3.4.0, released November 21st.WiiM Home App v3.4.0 Update – Nov 21, 2025
SMB & Local Playback
- [Android] Support for using current folder's cover as song artwork
- [iOS] Multi-level SMB folder support and file paths containing spaces or Chinese characters
Music Services
- Plex: Updated to new API for better search; supports Plex Server access over WAN
- YouTube: New sorting options, A–Z index for Libraries, and accurate remaining time for podcast episodes
- [iOS] Unified "See All" styling and consistent search pages across all services
- [iOS] Multi-line title support for Hotmix, Pandora, Plex, Deezer, Bookmarks, vTuner, YouTube, and Qobuz
Setup & Device Experience
- OOBE: Alerts for Wi-Fi passwords with spaces/line breaks, weak-signal indicator after setup, and visual guide for locating router passwords
- Trigger Out: Shows trigger status and supports one-time trigger on/off
- Group Volume: Muted devices no longer affect group volume adjustments
Display & Personalization
- WiiM Sound: Wallpaper uploads + new VU-meter playback screens
- WiiM Ultra / Amp Ultra: New audio-spectrum screens and new clock-face wallpaper option (requires upcoming firmware)
Audio Controls
- WiiM Mini: Custom volume step configuration (requires upcoming firmware)
- [Android] Fixed looping volume up/down when connected via Bluetooth
WiiM Product Updates
November's firmware updates brought important bug fixes and stability improvements across the WiiM family.WiiM Ultra Firmware v5.2.734250 (Nov 1)
Bug Fixes:- Alarm: Corrected behavior in Daylight Saving Time zones
- TuneIn: Now consistently selects the highest available stream quality
- Qobuz Connect: Fixed crash that could occur after seeking
- Amazon Music: Fixed unexpected stops when using Amazon Music Cast
WiiM Amp Ultra Firmware v5.2.734250 (Nov 1)
Bug Fixes:- Same improvements as Ultra: Alarm DST corrections, TuneIn quality selection, Qobuz Connect stability, and Amazon Music Cast fixes
WiiM Sub Pro Firmware v5.2.736145 (Nov 20)
