Have just bought a Pro Plus to replace a chrome cast to stream to my Linn Classik and am really pleased with it.

My kitchen and bedroom each have a Sonos Play One, both have which have been great but I'd like to integrate them with a WIIM set up and am wondering the best way forward.

Are there speakers available that will work straight off my pro plus (no cables) or do I need to get a couple of WIIM minis to drive a Denon Home 150 or similar - the Audio Pro WIIM editions sound ideal (if a little expensive) but don't seem tom be aviailable yet.

Any other suggestions?

The standard Audio Pro speakers (i.e. not the Wiim edition) are still Linkplay under the hood.
You should be able to group an Audio Pro speaker with a Pro Plus.
I don't own an Audio Pro so cannot confirm but someone else who does should be able to confirm/deny

The Pro and Mini will not play to a Sonos Play:1 or Sonos One. The only connection to the them is through the Sonos app. The new Era 100 has an analog input which allows the Wiim devices to connect to it. Wiim has announced plans to do DLNA casting, which would allow the Wiim device to connect to Sonos directly, but that feature has been delayed andit is not clear when it might be available. If you want the two Sonos speakers to be independent, you will need a Wiim streamer for each one.

The regular AudioPro A10 works great with the Pro+ and is a great replacement for the Sonos Play One.

Thanks - the A10 certainly looks like a good option - am just curious what the WIIM edition does that the regular doesn't? Apologies if a stupid question - I'm new to streaming (most of my hifi is 25 years old)

It has updated firmware which allows it to run room correction or use parametric equalisation, for example, as well as the ability to be a squeezelite client if you use LMS, amongst other things. It’ll probably support persistent groups and smart presets when they come along, whereas the non-WiiM edition won’t.
