Happy New Year everyone :)

Newbie here. I successfully connected my Wiim Pro Plus to my old hifi system that I have in my living room without any major issue.
I have a Sonos Roam in the kitchen that I would like to have it paired via Bluetooth to the Wiim and have simultaneous music playback (living room and kitchen)
Is that possible? I can only see one audio output on the wiim home app.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the help!
And the Roam connected via the Sonos app to a Sonos Play 1, both connect to a wiim mini or pro then connected to the main wiim in the living room would that be possible? Theoretically that would work right?

Cheers!

If you can physically take a connection from a WiiM device into a Sonos device, then group that WiiM device with another WiiM device, then yes music would be heard on the Sonos and the other WiiM. If you grouped the Sonos devices in such a manner that the WiiM connected device fed the other Sonos devices, then they should play as well, but just not accurately synced with the WiiM. If every Sonos device had a physically connected WiiM device and the WiiMs were grouped, the sonos fed devices would be synced.
The one output constraint would still apply to each WiiM device though.

Sorry, I’m not a Sonos user and I presumed those Sonos speakers would at least have an aux input, but neither do, so what I thought you could do doesn’t look possible :(

Hopefully some Sonos owner can advise which Sonos speaker does have an aux input that could act as a gateway between WiiM and Sonos devices.

If you can group the Roam with the Play 1 in the Sonos app, you might be able to Bluetooth to the Roam and rely on it to forward the audio to the Play 1.

WiiM are developing something called DLNA cast that was initially being seen as a way of transmitting to Sonos devices but again the whole issue with Sonos and DLNA/UPNp support seems to be up in the air from what little I’ve read so perhaps that’s a dead end too :(

Sonos 5 does it’s what I use though I got rid of my roams and replaced them with echo dots and battery packs
Though my Sonos moves work fine using sono+ widget app for grouping with my 5s playing WiiM ultra as source

Thanks. I had confused the Play 1 with I think the old Sonos Connect which I think did have such an input.

Indeed the new Sonos era100 has an adapter you can buy but means giving them more money
I believe the 3 has an input as well probably available on eBay
I have a Mini attached to I an Era 100 with the $20 analog cable. The Mini is linked to a Pro which drives my traditional system. I can sync the Mini and the Pro to have the Sonos system and my traditional system play in sync. I seem to have to redo that sync sometimes after not using the system for a while but once it is working it seems to hold pretty well. I use the Sonos app to group the Sonos speakers as needed. So, it is very doable to have a Sonos system and a traditional system in sync, although it needs some adjustment occasionally.

Which analog cable would I need more precisely? Thanks ☺️

You need the Sonos line-in adapter cable. Others will not work. The A to D is not the highest quality but is probably OK for whole house music. I would not use it for critical listening, but I don't use Sonos for that anyway.
