Wiim Sound

Hi peeps & apologies in advance , I'm an avid music listener but a total novice with technology & set ups .
Ive recently purchased the Wiim sound and so far I'm very happy with it . My only ( very small ) gripe is its lack of Airplay 2 connectivity . I'd ultimately like to create a multiroom set up and have noticed that the Wiim Mini is Airplay 2 compatible . So my naive question is , if I was to set up a Wiim mini ( connected to its own speaker ) could I group this with the Sound to achieve multiroom across both devices & achieve Airplay connectivity via the Mini . Hope this makes sense even if its a daft question Cheers
