When i am using the phono in from the ultra and dont play anything from my turntable, instrumental music begin to play at low volume. Is this some secret function or why am i hear this music and how i turn the music off?

Maybe your turntable picks up some radio station?

no such music plays not in any radio station near me. Im so confused. It is instrumental music clearly, not any interference from my turntable. I tried an other phono preamp and there is no music.

You know all the radio stations near by? :)

Please take the time and watch the video.

So it might be less sensitive to what you experience.

To be perfectly clear: No, there is no hidden setting to play (or not play) instrumental music when switching to the phono input but not starting to play a record.

You were right, it was an AM radio station, that causes the spooky music. I watch the video later because now i am interested. Luckily the music is so quiet, that you did not hear it when playing a record.

Still an annoyance, I'd say.
