WIIM Ultra to Arcam A25

I'm running my WIIM Ultra to my Arcam A25 via digital connection. After going back and forth a bit I found I liked the A25 DAC a little bit more. My speakers are Focal Chora 826's and all together the system sounds amazing. I have the Ultra on my network playing qobuz and Amazon music. I prefer qobuz as it sounds fuller and more defined to me. I also occasionally run the TV through the Ultra via HDMI and it sounds great as well.

Hi, when you wrote you are using a digital connection, that means coax? I also have an a25 and I'm looking at the ultra as a streaming solution but also as a digital hub, especially to use the eArc on the wiim to connect to my TV. I'm very happy with the digital conversion on my arcam so am curious if you're pleased with the wiim with that type connecton and if you are also using the eArc?

Please note that the WiiM Ultra does not support eARC, but does support ARC.

Yes, I am using the Coax for the digital connection. I also have the Toslink connected from my Oppo DVD player. I have the HDMI from the TV connected from the Arc. It has proven to be an excellent setup. Easy to use with with Qobuz and Spotify connect for Hi Res music. Still using the Arcam DAC rather than the wiim's DAC.
