will this wiring work ?

hi guys new here . love my Wiim ultra except for one thing no XLR output and the fact it has 2v output from RCA . my 10y old preamp has 2.5v on rcd and 4.5v on xld output ,the problem is even at high volume the amp is not pushed .so I will revert to using my old dac preamp.
will this work.
Wiim sub out------sub
record player ----wiim phono
Wii usb----dac preamp
will the Wiim pass the signal to the sub and will I be able to control the volume of the sub at the same rate as my dac preamp.
will the Wii pas the phono signal to my preamp dac?

You can use all inputs supported by the WiiM Ultra with an external DAC, connected through USB.

The subwoofer output now also works with the USB output, but you must control the volume from the Ultra, not the external DAC/pre-amp. If the Ultra is set to fixed output volume, so will be the subwoofer output and that's not what you want.

If your old preamp actually applies any gain to the signal before it reaches the power amp, then you can leave the preamp in there with the volume turned up so that the signal gets extra gain, and then match the volume of the sub to the speakers, but you will need to utilize the WiiM Ultra for volume control in order to keep the subwoofer volume in sync with the speakers once that is set.

If your preamp maxes out at unity gain (+0dB gain), then it won't benefit you in any way.
