OK - my bad on that. I thought from the original post that it was new.
I still think Linkplay has a marketing problem with the confusion of the Audio Pro announcement and the subsequent temporary changes to WHA.
In fact, Richer carries the full line of Wiim gear as well as Audio Pro speakers. If they were confused about the interoperability then a lot of users probably are also. The Audio Pro announcement of a Wiim based app, which got some good media coverage and then the withdrawal of that...
Audio Pro originally included room equalization in their software description but has since dropped that from their description of the app. That raises the question as to how many of the Wiim software features will be available in the Audio Pro Mulitroom software - both now and going forward...
Please see Ryan's explanation of the situation.

Hi all!
The Audio Pro W series speakers are designed to work exclusively with the Audio Pro Control app. This app is built on...

Thanks Ryan. This information clarifies a lot of the unknowns concerning this announcement.
I would note that Audio Pro originally said that room equalization was part of their app upgrade, but their website no longer says that. That is one area where the two apps differ in features and there...
The ONLY thing I know that they have said was on Facebook and they said "existing products". Until they and Audio Pro clarify their support, I would be very carefully about buying right now. They fact that Wiim has not given any explanation here makes me concerned.
Unfortunately, Wiim support for the W generation speakers and how the new Audio Pro app works with Wiim product is still uncertain. Wiim and Audio Pro have not confirmed any details about those issues. Personally, I would be cautious about buying a W product if you need it to work with the Wiim...
Wiim posted this on Facebook. Not much detail and not sure about the "mistake" comment.
"Hi Team, we'll resume the support to the existing audio pro devices in the WiiM Home App in our next release. Please stay tuned! BTW, it's done by mistakes."

Agreed,.
Exactly how the new Audio Pro app relates to the Wiim app and Wiim hardware is a bit of a mystery at this point. Given their pullback in referencing their new app to Wiim explicitly, it seems like is may be Wiim-like but not necessary totally compatible. I guess we have to wait and see...
The table below that says that the new app works with W and gen 2 products but not with the gen 1 products. All products work with the legacy app but without the new functionality. At least that is now I read it. So, I am not sure which is correct.
My understanding from their original web page was that the new app does not work with the old speakers. You need a W or a Mk II speaker for the new app to work. I do not seem to find that page anymore but I might have missed it. Most of the app stuff has disappeard. Could that be why it does...
You might want to wait and see what Audio Pro announces. They have a large lineup coming and may be better priced in Europe than the Sound. The unknown is exactly how compatible they are with Wiim products given their confusing announcements to date.
EDIT: It looks like the W line is now on...
If you only use it for low frequency, 10 is probably OK. For a larger frequency range, like in the graphs above, more bands would do a better job. If it is only to be used for low frequency then the tool should be limited to that. If you can do 20 to 20K it should be designed to work over the...
