You have a a basic ignorance of how TCP/IP networking ensures data integrity and this is why that statement is meaningless. Your Cisco switches have nothing to do with the rendering of digital data into the analogue sound you hear.

Is there a reason you are using what looks like the legacy windows media player ?
The more up to date Windows media player handles DLNA much better and there are 3rd party media players that will do a better job
Can you actually post a ripped file that is displaying the wrong details and album art or can you confirm that you have actually checked the metadata on a file with an appropriate tool to verify that it is as it should be ?
AFAIK there are not widespread reports of the issues you are...
