Welcome.

You'd have to ask Wiim, but going by the options re. future products in this survey, it would imply that a Wiim CD player probably isn't on the horizon...
(Or that there's no point asking as they are about to release one...)

I find it quite strange that they've released this in silver when all of their other products are black/dark grey

More important these days is the software which can display the disc metadata (see Lyrion CD-play plugin & Eversolo's cd play feature)

The Fosi has no networking so can't do lookups.

CD will come back, and Wiim don't anticipate the wave adding a good CD transport with the familiar form factor of the Ultra, Vibe...
Strange in my opinion, and a real pity.
