Another amazing voice I've recently stumbled across is Presley Haile. She's been around a couple of years but her 2025 album is "Off To Find A Sunny Day". Check out the " Someday Soon" track.
Thea Gilmore, I suspect you mean. Been listening to her for 20 years now. A great talent - wonderful voice and lyrics written with a razor blade. Avalance (2003) was the album that hooked me on her, but tons of other great work, too.
A fun discovery on Qobuz. If you like Western Swing, check this out. A 3 piece band - bass, violin & guitar doing some classics and beyond. Excellent recording.
Lots of different potential causes so worth checking out all the possibilities. Based on the responses you're getting, sounds more like a compatibility issue between the Ultra and certain headphone models.
Wonder if there might be an interference issue in your house. Here's an experience I had several years ago with wif-fi in a prior house. Everything worked find except for one Roku receiver on a TV in the kitchen where the connection was poor. Finally it occurred to me one day that there was a...
No. I've never used BT out from my Ultra up to now but out of curiosity I just paired my Sennheiser Momentum 4 headphones with my Ultra. Zero issues and excellent sound. I'm sitting about 20' from the Ultra. Next I tried my Edifier W830NB headphones and had no problem with those either.

What software are you running on the RPi? Could be a setting got wonky. Also easy enough to burn another SD card and reboot the Pi with that. I find that every now and then a SD card can get flaky.
One other observation -- Schiit products have their power switch on the back of their units and there is a constant stream of complaints from some who want it on the front panel. :)
Strange -- I've never had to do a power cycle on any of my Wiims following a firmware update. The scripted reboot works fine by itself. (I have an Ultra, Pro, Pro Plus & Mini.)
