I have my WiiM Ultra connected to the hdmi earc on my Samsung tv. The WiiM is connected via optical to my Cambridge Audio cxa61. I’ve just read that the Ultra isn’t compatible with earc but everything seems to be working fine. Would it be better connected to a normal HDMI port?

I have my music on a WD USB drive and not all of the album artwork shows up using the WiiM Ultra. I used Mp3Tag to add the artwork to the music files and still some of it does not show up. When I do add it I rescan the drive and that doesn't help. Any ideas?
