New user to both Wiim AMP and Tidal. Pleasant experience so far

I had to set Apple TV to “stereo”, otherwise it got silent with multichannel content. Correct?

The main question:
Does the Tidal app on Apple TV or “connect” from iPhone Tidal/Wiim Home give the best quality (with Apple TV set to “stereo”

Tidal Connect from your phone or Tidal from within the WiiM app will deliver the highest quality to your WiiM device, up to 24/192. The Apple TV will deliver 24/48 at best.
